As any fan of the movie _Airplane_ knows, the movie is a remake of an earlier disaster film, _Zero Hour_. The original film featured a propeller plane. In the remake, the plane was a more modern Boeing. But they still used the old propeller noise whenever they showed the outside establishing shots. ---
