These questions were too hard, too “Trivia question”-esque, for Family Feud.

Sorry. The few times I’ve watched Family Feud, it seemed like they intentionally scraped from the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of contestant IQ, so I thought Dopers would like a bit more of an intellectual challenge. And I figured everybody could name one trumpeter (everyone’s heard of Louis Armstrong, I think), one country with a monarchy, one American writer, one Spanish painter (everyone’s heard of Picasso, right?), one 1960s movie, one foreign president, and one college major. I will concede that I may have overestimated the average American’s exposure to Spanish art, and the Israeli war thing was probably too obscure. The foreign president thing might have been a bit much, but Pervez Musharraf has been in the news a lot, so that’s why I thought of it. And I have enjoyed hearing Dopers’ answers to my questions.

I think I have the most interest in running these games, tabulating the scores, and formatting them in high-to-low-score format, though, so if y’all like, you can all email (not PM) me one or two questions each and I’ll use the first eight or ten I get in the next game. Sound good to everyone?
