The four classic Western virutes are temperence, prudence, fortitude and justice. There are 9 Christian virtues or ā€œfruits of the Spiritā€, 15 Roman virtues, including ā€œGravityā€, 33 Virtues of Islam, 8 Buddhist virtues, and 4 virtues of the Samurai. Virtues recognized in western culture number 121. Thereā€™s no mention of the number 7. I vaguely remember the Trix rabbit saying ā€œPatience is a virtueā€ in a commercial when I was a kid, and my Mother said that patience was not a virtue. Youā€™d think that would be tied in with ā€œvirtueā€. I see that Patience is not included in the seven Roman Catholic virtues, hence my motherā€™s insistence that the Trix rabbit was wrong. ---
