I’m going to be off the boards for about 10 days, starting a week from today. (Going to Holland for a business trip – is my job cool or what? – and though I’ll keep an eye on my email, I won’t be wasting … uh, investing … hours a day here.) The current plan is to put Blue out of its misery by playing to only 50 points, not 100, and then reshuffle the teams (and perhaps allow a few more people into the game to get the numbers back up) before starting another round. Option 1: Play to 50, reshuffle the teams, and have someone else – perhaps someone with a more normal take on the universe – take over as emcee, at least while I’m gone. Maybe, I dunno – **Idle Thoughts** , whose idea this was in the first place? Option 2: Play till next Thursday, then take 10 days off for sign-up and to allow anticipation to build, and then resume play when I return. Whaddya think? ---

I might bug you for some hints on how you devised your lists if you take me up on the offer. If we can finish another round before you leave, then let’s try it. The Blue team needs to get some points in order to “save face” at least. (giggling) So I am leaning towards **option 2**. ---

Option 2 for me. I’ll be around later tonight. If Blue team wins the toss up, I vote PASS!!! We have lost three or four rounds trying to play. We also lost a round because Red got all the answers, though… I’m heading down to the beach. It’s cloudy, but warm, and my black Lab Lucy has never been… ---
