The only suggestions I can think up are wrestling and swimming, neither of which I would say are really all that popular. Polo? Bowling? Bobsledding? Curling? ---

This is hard because it’s team sports - every other popular sport I can think of that isn’t on the board aren’t team sports (golf, stock car racing, boxing, etc). And I don’t know much about sports in the UK minus football/soccer, cricket and rugby being popular. Is polo that popular in the UK? I’ve never seen it in the US but I might just be too midwestern for that. Bowling is more of an individual thing like golf, minus bowling leagues, but I think pro bowlers lone it. Curling…eh. Only know what it is because of the Olympics. Same with bobsledding. But that is just me. Can we consider rowing/crew? Dunno how good of an answer it will be, it might be too prep school, but I only do baseball. Field hockey maybe? ---

Curling might be a nod to the “North America” part of the question…otherwise I guess polo (eek I typed polio) might be good. Is doubles tennis a “team” sport? Gymnastics? Kickball? Bah. P.S. I think softball was a good answer. ---

I’m leaning towards field hockey. Polo sounds like a good one, but regular or water? A lot of the others are confusing in their definition of team so I’d rather steer away from those. ---

I reckon field hockey might be a good answer. Polo isn’t widely played here, though. One thing I did wonder about was the use of British Isles, rather than UK as the location in the question. Does this imply that there is an Irish sport involved? Gaelic football or hurling perhaps.? ---

Do we have a consensus? Are we close to one? It appears Polo is competing with Field Hockey. My rough count shows Polo with 2 votes and 3 ½ votes Field Hockey with 3 votes and 2 ½ votes. Let’s try and get this decided by 10am EST. ---

Weighing the Votes, I get 3.5 for Polo and 4 for Field Hockey. So it looks like Red’s guess is Field Hockey. In the end it did not matter. The 10th and final answer was \*\*Curling \*\* which only LilyoftheValley mentioned. So 9 points to Blue. The score is \*\*39 for Blue \*\* and 9 for Red. 1. Baseball 2. Soccer/Football/ fútbol 3.
