So was nobody but me watching this last night. I thought it was pretty good. I particulary liked: -Meg and the Pot. -Peter and Lois at the end(Peter’s thougt bubble). -Most of the porno shop thing. -Kool-aid man. Though I don’t really get the bit about Ted Turner in the Bath, and the Stewie Olympics thing was just meh. The train robbery started good and then went on way too long. ---

I loved Stewie’s Olympic gymnast thing. I think he’s funniest when his essential baby-ness comes through, and he’s very good when he goes off into his imagination like that. Overall though, the episode wasn’t great. Carter Pewterschmitt is not the funniest character on the show, and there was way too much of him. I thought American Dad was better. ---

Quagmire’s little song-and-dance was bordering on the self-referential campy schlock that was so well parodied in the _Scrubs_ episode called “My life in four cameras”. The part at the end with the thought bubbles was good, but past that I’m looking at 2 bad Family Guy episodes in a row. ☹ -Joe ---

It was bleh for me. I did like the part where they satirized the Tracy Ullman era Simpsons, though. And thank God American Dad is back, those two other comedies (The Loop and whatever the other one is called) are shit. ---

I thought that was rather the point. DC, Po5, Felicity and the rest of those sort of teen dramas were for the most point pretty vapid and horrible. The bit’s greatest sin was in being several years too late (although that too can be seen as part of the gag, that Carter and Peter are so out of touch that they think that sort of show is still current). ---

I am _so_ pissed that I didn’t know American Dad was coming back! I guess I did it to myself - I hardly ever watch anythiing in real time, which means I never see commercials anymore. So were there 2 FGs and an American Dad Sunday night? Damn! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: At any rate, I really loved Quagmire’s giggedy dance. We rewound that quite a few times, and it never got old. Stewie’s gymnastic routines were sublime. I may have to overcome my Luddite tendancies and find a way to put Stewie ringtones on my T Mobile phone. Then I’d even give out my phone number! Any of you tech-savvy whippersnappers out there wanna help an old lady out? Giggedy-goo! ---

Not the strongest episode, but still fun. How can you not love the real Betty White reading Peter’s book: “There was this smoking hot chick. She looked Italian, or maybe some kind of Spanish . . .”
