There is a minor spoiler at the other end of the link.
I saw this ep in the DVD set and could not for the life of me figure out what FOX, home of sleaze TV, could find offensive enough about it to ban it. It happened to pop up on Cartoon Network within a week or so, so I watched it again, noting the lyric change noted in the article and figured that must be it. This was all pre-“Passion” though so the ep could probably air as originally intended and no one would bat an eye.

because the rule at FOX is you’re allowed to make fun of any minority group, _except_ the Jews.

Yeah, I was puzzled why they banned it as well. Seems silly to pay for an entire episode then not show it becuase of one line, if worse comes to worse just omit the line.
It was a pretty weak episode though IMHO, so maybe they just didn’t think it was worth it.

Oops, sorry about the spoiler.
It’s not my favourite episode, and I remember wondering what the hype was all about too. I wonder if it is because Fox had pretty much jumped off the Family Guy bandwagon by that time, and didn’t want to chance anything?
