For what it’s worth, there have been multiple occasions when a famous writer/director/producer has given himself a role in one of his own movies. I’m of course speaking of Chris Columbus. ---

I don’t know what would make a parent name their kid Christoper with that name. He has steered into it. His production company is called 1492 Pictures.
