# Famous Country music musicians

Clint Black, Charlie Daniels, Craig Morgan, Garth Brooks, these are all famous country musicians and there are many more.

My question:  
What do these famous people pay their band members on AVERAGE?

I already know what the country music stars make, but what do they pay their musicians?

I looked through my copies of “Dreaming Out Loud” by Bruce Feiler and “Get Hot or Get Home” by Lisa Gubernick. They both were published in the mid-90’s and are must reads for anyone interested in the behind-the-scenes of country music. “A list” studio musicians typically got $1000 per day each. Your average hit-making act would pay their road band $200-$300 per day. Superstar acts paid “substantially more”. I don’t know if those rates have changed much since then.
