> [@FoieGrasIsEvil](#): > > All I get is a lousy philosopher I’ve never heard of: Theodor Adorno, German sociologist and philosopher Aug 6, 1969. I have. I used to hate Adorno until I read some of his writings and realized that I liked Adorno, I just hated Adorno scholars. But I digress. Nobody of significance died on my day of birth although Jayne Mansfield had a Very Bad Day soon after. ---

The 2 names I found were Max Branch, age 75, a music/radio commentator and Max Tak, age 75, Dutch violinist/radio commentator. I can conclude that August 7, 1967 was a bad day to be a 75 year old radio commentator named Max. ---

I’ve got Davey Claire, a shortstop for the Detroit Tigers . . . for three games in 1920, and Morgan Gurley Sanders, a Texas lawyer, legislator, and judge. If famous for how they died counts, there’s also Susan Cadieux, who disappeared in London on her way to school, age 5. Her body was found days later and she had been sexually assaulted. Caused quite a stir in 1956. Also, five young missionaries (one surnamed Saint) were killed in their first contact with a tribe in an Ecuadoran jungle. There was a documentary. Some of their widows and other family members persisted. Now there’s another documentary. And Vinoo Mankad scored 231 v NZ. I’m assuming that’s a good thing. ---

George Formby [QUOTE-Wiki] George Formby, OBE (26 May 1904 – 6 March 1961), born George Hoy Booth, was a British comedy actor, singer-songwriter, and comedian. He sang light, comical songs, accompanying himself on the banjo ukulele or banjolele. He was a major star of stage and screen in the 1930s and 1940s [/QUOTE] His talent did not reincarnate to me. He is on several youtube videos, never seen him or heard the songs. ---
