In the credits of a TV show I was watching there was a Rufus Hound. But, I guess he’s not famous.

It depends on your definition of “Famous”, but at Rutgers University the anthropology department had, until last year, both Lionel Tiger and Robin Fox (Fox died in January 2024)
He’s at least as famous as Richard Herring.
