The eminent immunologist [Dr. Zoltan Ovary](http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/17/nyregion/17ovary.html). A native of Transylvania, he pronounced it _oh VAH ree_. And no, AFAIK, he never dabbled in gynecology. (Maybe not even on the side; he left no immediate survivors.) ---
