# Fancy dress.  What's a cool film-related costume?

We’re having a staff do. And tonight I’ve been roped into attending it in fancy dress. I will probably not, but I have been wondering what would be a cool outfit if I were so inclined.

My first thought was Darth Vader, but there must be something cooler and/or more sophisticated from popular cinema. Those who roped me in wanted me to go as robin of the Del-boy and rodney versions of batman and robin. I was fairly unflattered at the comparission with Rodney Trotter.

What would be so ultra-cool as an outfit that I would not feel self-concious wearing to an otherwise ordinary-dress staff do?

Alex. From _A Clockwork Orange_. Striped shirt, bowler, cane, radial makeup on one eye only.

Maybe accessorize with a phallic-nosed mask while you’re at it.

Now you’re talkin! That would be so cool! It’s just a shame so many people there are either too young or too uncultured to get know who I’m dressed as.
