“The Serpent’s Wench” rocked my world when it went up the other day. _That_ is an origin story I can get behind. Love love love. Still kind of stuck on my own story. I keep telling myself that the thing to do is just get the words down on the page. I can fix them later, I tell myself. But I get caught up in ruthlessly editing as I go, and then I get to feeling that my prose is so stilted that I may as well give up. Then I drink. 😉 This is a cycle I would like to break. Suggestions? ---

There’s a poetry fad going around the pirategasm LJ community lately. [This](http://www.livejournal.com/community/pirategasm/131620.html#cutid1) terzanelle (see [ulr="[http://www.angelfire.com/art/formsofpoetry/agamemmnon’s.sanctuary.frenchforms.terzanelle.html"]here[/'url](http://www.angelfire.com/art/formsofpoetry/agamemmnon's.sanctuary.frenchforms.terzanelle.html%22%5Dhere%5B/'url)] for more info on the form) really sparked my imagination. People are homing in more on Will as a character, and that pleases me a great deal; I think the movie’s writers started out very strong with him and then let him slip into a very simple and repetitive role. ---

I have had computer problems and unable to open any links ( here or anywhere from my pc) for days. So, day when my computer decides to act right ( thanks to the Massive Colossal East Coast Power Outage™ - Yeah! - maybe I hit Ctril-Atl-Del too much and fried some system, dunno) I am finally able to lurk at [Fanfiction.net](http://Fanfiction.net). oh.my.god. It is a whole new world to me. Fun. Light. airy. bad. horrid. runonsentances. Everything that would cause an Engrish teacher to have a stroke. Beats the shit out of an amusement park any day of the week. But the link provided for the _Silence of the Deep_…sheeeeit. That is some damn good writing. And **Juniper** you just freekin’ rock!
