I have a few unconfirmed people for 3 SDMB fantasy football leagues. I’m going to give them a little while longer to sign up, but I’m going to see who’s interested in being a replacement if those people don’t end up showing up. Leagues: [SDMB All-Pro fantasy football](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=832384) League is on it’s 12th year. It’s a 12 man league. We were ahead of the curve in terms of using various sorts of scoring and rule changes before they became popular, but most of what we do in the league is pretty standard now. Half PPR, some scoring tweaks to boost efficiency scores for QBs and punish mistakes more. [Settings here.](https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/495895/settings) Auction draft. Thursday Aug 31 at 8:30 eastern. May need 1 player. [SDMB Big League](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=832385). In its 9th year. 20 players makes this league unique. Normal sized rosters means that people are going to have to start players that normal leagues would find on the waiver wires. A lot of flexibility in strategy in this one in terms of how you build your team. Always a challenge to field a team through the year with injuries and bye weeks given the talent is stretched so thin already. Auction draft, Tuesday Aug 29 at 8:15 eastern. You absolutely must attend the draft in this league. Because the values are different from yahoo’s values, the auto-draft will not draft a viable team at all. [He Hate Me keeper league](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=832386). The oldest league, in it’s 15th year. You can keep players for 2 years (owning them 3 years in total) at a cost of 2 rounds after you drafted them. So there’s some continuity in your rosters from year to year and reward for finding gems. 14 man league. You would inherit a leaving player’s [keeper list](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=20400093&postcount=7). As of now, Moridwon (Hamlet) and Ottoman Empire might be up for grabs. Standard draft. Tuesday Sep 5 at 8:30 eastern. If anyone else wants to advertise their league, go ahead. If you’re interested in any of these leagues please post which ones. Obviously be available for the draft if you’re going to apply for any. ---

Alright. That league doesn’t draft until Sep 5, so I’m going to give the missing players some more time to come claim their team, but if neither of them do you’ll have first pick about which keeper list you can keep, or if one of them show up, obviously you’d get the other. Obviously if they don’t come back, the recruitment won’t be necesary, but I appreciate the interest. Hamlet is usually around the boards and dragging his ass for some reason but Otto hasn’t been around in a year so I think he may be done. I recruited 2 replacements to the big league which eliminates our current need for players, but we might have cancellations or something - if you’re interested in joining it please express your interest here and you may be called upon to fill a slot. Draft is next week for that one. ---

I forgot that Hamlet had checked in on the HHM thread but never joined the league (still hasn’t), so his slot will be reserved. Ottoerotic has not indicated he will be returning this year, however, and his slot will be up for grabs soonish if he doesn’t return, in which case d\_odds can take it. I still need 1 member for the All-pro league, we’ll be drafting in a week. ---

We appear to be full up in HHM and the big league. There’s a chance there will be last minute cancellations but I hope not. I do need one more for the All pro league. We draft on Thursday. It’s a good, competitive league where everyone will give their best to the end, and a good way to try an auction draft if you never have - it’s way better. ---

No fees, just for fun. Live draft scheduled for Sunday, Sep 3, 2017 at 5:00pm EDT so that we can know injuries beforehand. 🙂 “Playoffs” in week 15 and 16 - top 4 teams. Did I miss anything? ---
