# Farewell for now, friends.

After a long sleepless night spent in scattered thought, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am far too addicted to the Dope.

As some of you know I was recently diagnosed with ADD. This is not in itself a terrible thing - I’m happy to know what’s going on. However I have realized that I use the Dope as a permanent distraction, and I can’t continue to do that. My work is suffering, and I’m at a point where I need to get some stuff accomplished!

So, bye for now. I’ll resist the urge to check responses to this thread, too, which will be so hard!! In any case, I’ll miss you all!

Hopefully I can get it together to be able to come back in a while.

**Morganelf** , ADD or not, addiction to the SDMB is something most Dopers can relate to. Hope you are able to stay focused at work!
