Glad to see some people on the site like him. I’ve been watching NC for years now, and marathoning a few episodes has frequently taken me out of a sad place. His voice and comedy aren’t for everyone, but I love his facial expressions, and his sheer rage at some movies is cathartic. I was incredibly sad when it ended, but glad that he’s back. I think people expected Demo Reel to be hilarious (and I don’t think it was intended to be laugh out loud funny), and their resentment over NC ending to make room for this new show colored a lot of people’s opinions on it. It was just starting to get interesting (with Donnie’s backstory being slowly revealed), but “The Review Must Go On” was a great way to end it. I really like some other people on the site, namely Oancitizen. If you like a movie snob who doesn’t mind laughing at himself and the movies that he watches, definitely check him out. I have a bit of a nerd crush on him (he’s just so beardy and huggable-looking!) Todd in the Shadows and JesuOtaku are good too, although JO hasn’t put out a regular anime review in months, and has recently stated that she doesn’t really want to do them anymore. Ah, well. ---

I’ve liked some of the cameos he’s made in Lindsey’s videos. A fifteen second rage joke and then he’s gone? Great. More than a minute? Moving on. ---
