Some of us grow old gracefully. Some don’t.
I am almost exactly one year younger than Farrah Fawcett. Back in the '70s I never woulda dreamed that some day I might look better than Farrah. Yee-haw!
However, Jaclyn Smith has me beat by miles and miles.

The difficulties of aging. Mine, not hers. It might help to know when in the 70’s that poster was made, but, criminy, that was at least 25 years ago, maybe 35. Although my memories of her will always be that poster, there are damn few women who looked great in posters in the 70’s who look great in their 50’s-60’s. It takes a different kind of beauty.
I am not an agist - it is my HO that some types just don’t age well. Imagine the typical perky high school cheerleader - they just don’t age well. The scrawny, bookish girl in Latin class may look terrific, though.

I’ve never thought the 70s Farrah Fawcett was hot (born in 1977, so I wasn’t around at the time myself). I seriously never have understood why she was thought of as beautiful, let alone Teh Hottest Thing Evah! I dare even say that Farrah Fawcett is hotter today than she was back then (at least judging from the _Late Show_ clip).

And I always dug Kate Jackson more than both of them, even in my early teens. And have had a thing for the serious brunette ever since.

I saw the poor, wretched woman on Letterman. She is a walking Anti-Drug poster. Not only has she botoxed her face to death (as evidenced by her attempt at smiling, which came across as a grimace) but she acts so dim that it’s embarrassing. In her interview, she claims she signed up for “Chasing Farrah” because people were chasing her anyway. :rolleyes:
