It is approximately 16420 km (10203 miles) from the house I lived in as a kid to the house where I currently live. Cape Town, South Africa to Bellevue, Washington. Iā€™ve lived in a few other places but that must be the furthest. If I tunneled directly down from my childhood home Iā€™d end up somewhere north of Hawaii (about 20020 km away). So Iā€™m very close to being about as far away from my place of birth as it is possible to be. ---
