There were some loud ones in _The Naked Gun_, where Leslie Nielsen, unaware he’s still miked, uses the toilet. Speaking of Leslie Nielsen, he farted on the Arsenio Hall show. In the middle of the interview segment he scooted over and let one rip. To my knowledge, no one else has ever audibly farted like that on TV. ---

I can’t remember the movie. It might have been Porky’s. There’s 4 or 5 guys in a car at a drive-in. They all light farts at the same time and break out the windows. They called themselves The Blue Flamers. ---

You know, every time I see this thread’s title, I get that _Duran Duran_ song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Is that fair? Maybe not technically a fart gag in the film itself, but it’s tradition around my house to comment on recent contributions by imitating Glinda’s remark from after the Wicked Witch of the East departs: “Phew! What a smell of sulphur!” ---

Does **Homer Simpson** ever use the “pull my finger” gag? Seems like I have a memory of him saying that, first off-handedly, then in a threatening tone. Maybe it was Family Guy. ---

She marries some British dude (voiced by Hugh Grant I believe) and at one point, Homer is comparing American vs. English jokes with him. He tells his son-in-law-to-be to pull his finger and Grant’s character remarks that they have that one in Britain too. Through gritted teeth, Homer replies: “I said, ‘Pull my finger’.” That’s the one you had in mind, right? ---

I don’t even want to think about what a zombie fart must be like. But since the thread’s been revived, I’ll add that [Cedar Rapids](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1477837/) has a bit at the very end where John C. Reilly’s character lights one of his own farts to prove that it can be done. ---

I always like the fart scene in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, at the school where the two stuck up white girls are playing “Battle-shits” in the bathroom, unaware that Harold and Kumar are hiding in the stalls. Those two guys are dying because of the girl’s terrible farts but can’t reveal their presence. Funny stuff. ---
