> I’m kind of mad that they stopped double wrapping and cutting the sandwich in half. When I was a yute, I really thought it was special to open the outer wrap to find the inner, wrapped and cut sandwich.

> Now it’s just one wrapper and no cut… sad. But they’re 2 for $5… happy!

The only thing that bugs me is the wrapper has a weird chemical smell now - which interferes with my enjoying the sandwich while driving, since taking off the wrapper means dumping mayo globs down my shirt. Somehow I make do.

Once I asked my best childhood friend, who worked at BK as a teen, if they would make me a double chicken sandwich. He said, sure, after all, it’s “have it your way”! But I’ve never had the nerve to ask.

> Don’t think of it as slurry. Think of it as _paté_. 😃

Which is what I feed my cats:

No matter what you call it, I can only see the inside of a broken garbage disposal.

> People like grease. A natural breast fillet doesn’t absorb as much tasty grease as the more porous formed patties, especially if it doesn’t have a coating.

Some 20 years ago I bought a spongey Burger King chicken sandwich among other things, and no one ate it. I put it in the refrigerator and found it, chicken and bun, to be coated with hard cold white grease the next day. It was SO disgusting looking, I never bought another from Burger King, so don’t know if it would happen today. The ‘grilled’ natural breast fillet is fine. That pre-formed thing was just grotesque.
