# Fastest way from LaGuardia to JFK airports?

I may have a flight on May 15th arriving at LaGuardia at 11:30am, and flying out of JFK at 5pm. I need to get from LaGuardia to JFK with my luggage in that period of time. Is there a shuttle or anything or should I hire a taxi? Please advise.

There is a private express bus that shuttles between the two airports for only $13. That’s probably your best bet.

If you’re feeling adventurous you could take the Q33 bus ($2) to the 7 subway line at 82nd St in Jackson Heights, take that one stop to 74th St and transfer to the E line. Take that all the way to the end in Jamaica where you will switch to the JFK AirTrain ($5).

Personally, I’d just take the bus.

Another vote for the Airport Shuttle ([www.nyairportservice.com](http://www.nyairportservice.com) for rates, schedules, reservations, etc.). Should get you moved between airports in about 1 to 1.5 hr (plus time getting around to the right terminal).

There used to be a helicopter service. If it still exists it’s no doubt hideously expensive and surely the fastest.

But since you have plenty of time for ground transport, that’s gotta be the way to go.

Re-iterate the shuttle. And, as a note, there _is_ no fastest way. It all goes to hell in the end, one way or another.
