The [Trump Impeachment Inquiry thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=882607) seems to have grown more rapidly than virtually any I’ve seen on this board - 20 pages in three days. I know there are lots of threads that have grown huge over the years (with some of them still active), but do we know which ones grew _fastest_ (defined, say, as most pages added in a 24 hr period)? (I wasn’t active here very much during the early Trump epoch but wonder whether some threads from late 2016 to early 2017 might be the winners.) ---

IIRC the Election Day threads from both 2008 and 2016 got really big, really fast, as well. ---

In 24 hours most of the above threads sprang to mind; 9/11 I believe spawned several that went basically viral in the internet/Facebook use of the word. More than 24 hours I would personally be curious about the record for one week. What thread not just caught our collective notice but maintained it for a full seven days. ---

There is probably no ‘best’ metric for fasting growing.
