I think you mean fat burning [GREEN tea](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_tea)? Well green tea is an excellent source of caffeine. Caffeine works for me as a good way to supress my appeitite so I want to eat less. I doubt it would actually have any effect losing weight. I have read green tea also tends to take away the craving effect. In other words if you crave a slice of chocolate cake and drink some green tea the craving for the cake goes away. So the green tea just stops you from eating the cake. Green tea is also full of antioxidants which is usually a good thing. ---

I thought it was an amusing misspelling myself; Gene Tea sounds like something that makes you grow hooves or tentacles. ---

If it’s anything like that Dieter’s Tea, it will make you poop forever. You can lose weight with it, if you don’t mind feeling like you have a stomach virus. ---

I have a friend who drinks tea she refers to as “Poop Juice.” She claims that when she drinks it, it makes her poop and she can smell the toxins coming out of her, to which I usually respond, “But it’s crap - crap smells!” Anyway, I’m a strong believer in the power of good old fruits, veggies and whole grains combined with a healthy body to remove any such goblins and in getting rid of excess fat, so I have a hard time believing that special weight loss coffee will help in the long term. Short term, perhaps (after all, phen phen and pseudoephedrine helped some people), but I’d wonder why it was helping and would probably be concerned about the potential side effects. But that’s just me.
