Darn, both of my “maybe they’ll be obscure enough” connections have already been taken, but one needs to be further elaborated upon. Not only are Rufus and Martha Wainwright the children of Loudon Wainwright III, but their mother is folk musician [Kate McGarrigle](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kate_McGarrigle). (And Rufus cohort Teddy Thompson’s father has already been mentioned, but check out their duet on Richard’s “Persuasion.” What I’d give to be able to write a song like that) Oh, and I always assumed Neneh Cherry was a stage name, meant to amplify her sex symbol image. ([According to Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neneh_Cherry), Don and Eagle Eye are her stepfather and half-brother, respectively. A whole new category in our game) ---

He performs at the annual Winter Dance Party revival in Iowa most years. Nelson has been there a time or two as well. I have a co-worker who goes every year. ---

Don’t forget Ewan MacColl (sometimes McColl), who had 5 children, three with Peggy Seeger, who are all singers and musicians. The most famous was Kirsty MacColl. ---
