A lot of Dopers go to Fathom when The Dope is down. When I go there now, I get a can’t-find-server message. ---

I emailed Catz but she’d been away visiting family all weekend and had no clue either. If it’s still down tomorrow I’ll email a mod and ask if we can play hangman here. 😃 ---

First the Dope, then Skip’s board, now Fathom. If this keeps up, the guy who runs the nuclear powered ornithopter website is going to get about 40,000 new member . :eek: ---

Yet another in the ‘when I first read this thread title’ series… …I immediately thought of fathom as a measurement of distance, and wondered if the OP was talking about it only being used to measure distances down under the surface of water, like “Full fathom five thy father lies…” 🙂
