Kings Island is just NW of Cincinnati by about 20 minutes, so it would be about a 3 and half hour drive south from Sandusky.
Well worth it, if I do say so myself.

The cyclone at coney island is a classic and is the first coaster i ever rode at the tender age of five. I’ve been hooked on coasters ever since. Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Nj has some great ones. Their latest, called the Medusa, was incredible. Fast, lots of loops, and a state of the art track system. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. 2 thumbs up.
