Hey! I remember this movie. Much of it was filmed in and around my hometown area. Quincy and Tallahassee Florida. I remember them filming it when I was in high school. So not only do I get the 80’s flashbacks when I watch it, I also get homesick. sigh

Wow, you people have listed a lot of great movies that I haven’t thought about in a while!

Just one to add to the list: Streets of Fire.

I just love this movie. I admire the writer and director’s ability to create a whole new world, stealing the best parts of several decades (women like Diane Lane weren’t even built before the '80’s) in which to tell their story.

I didn’t see F/X on anybody’s list. That was a pretty fun 80’s movie. I guess its sequel, which is actually an early 90’s movie IINM, was also okay.

and my all time fav was clue. Even though its meant to be set in 1954 its still a film made in the 80s (1985 , i think)

I may be showing how young I was in the 80’s, but my all time favourite movies of the 80’s were:
