And definitely at the top of her game. All three Bronte sisters died before they were 40 - Charlotte at 39, Emily at 30, and Anne at 29 (They aren’t my favorite authors, but they are someone’s). (The Bronte home was in a TB hotspot). ---

A couple of athletes who may have already been mentioned: - Age 22: Len Bias, basketball. U Maryland, and Boston Celtics (though he never played a game for them) - Age 24: Joe Delaney, NFL football, KC Chiefs - Age 23: Ernie Davis, football, U Syracuse, and Washington Redskins (though he never played a game for them); the first African-American to win the Heisman - Age 26: Brian Piccolo, NFL football, Chicago Bears ---
