According to an article on [Cracked.com](http://Cracked.com) - admittedly, not perhaps the most reputable of sources - Clevon Little didn’t know that line was coming; his laughter was not feigned. And **mhendo** is right, it’s a fantastic line. Truly, the whole movie is a comic gold mine. For some reason, Mel Brooks as the Yiddish Native American chief telling the “schwatzers” to “cop a valk” always gets me, as does Burton Gilliam telling the railroad workers “Yew’re lollygaggin’ round like it’s a hunnert and twenny degrees. It cain’t be more than _a hunnert and four-teen_!” ---

As has already been said, the whole movie is a string of great lines and scenes. If I had to choose it would be the bean eating scene, with Mongo to follow. But all of Madeline Kahn is good. \* “He’s like wet sauerkraut in my hands. By morning he will be my slave!”\* ---
