From Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, the father of the boy. The one who goes into a rampage after some guy puts a knife to his little boy. The Bride from Kill Bill. I did not have much, I just wanted to make this thread in appreciation to the Father in Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. ---

Sam Spade in “The Maltese Falcon.” A little cynical, smart, tough, and knows what a good thing he’s got in Effie, his secretary. Also, not a sentimentalist (even when his partner gets killed). ---

First off, I’m going to have to second a couple of mentions from earlier in the thread: Jules in _Pulp Fiction_ The Dude in _The Big Lebowsky_ I’m a big fan of Japanese horror flicks, and the all time greatest character ever is Guitar Wolf in _Wild Zero_. Nothing is cooler than a greaser who fights zombies and cuts a flying saucer in half with a guitar. ROCK AND ROLL!! Genesis in _Suicide Circle_ is remarkably cool as well. He just shows up in the middle of the movie to perform a musical number and declare himself the Charles Manson of the information age before completely disappearing. Gamera the giant fire breathing turtle is truly a hero for all times as well. ---

Beck, the Rock’s character from “The Rundown,” is a recent favorite. Castor Troy from “Face/Off.” Sarge and Spoon from “Dog Soldiers.” Stansfield from “Leon (The Professional).” Gordon Gekko from “Wall Street.” Because I’m an absolute loser, any of the Hunters from “The Running Game.” And most of those already mentioned here. ---

Dude, this sounds awesome, like a cross between Army of Darkness and a video by the band The Darkness (with a touch of Six-String Samurai)! Tell me more! I usually don’t like zombie movies or gore, but I am intrigued. ---

I’ve always had a soft spot for Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken in _Escape from New York_. Also: Tony Randall as the Brain Gremlin in _Gremlins 2_, and Mojo Jojo from _The Powerpuff Girls_. ---

I usually don’t like zombie movies or gore, but I am intrigued. [hijack]It’s a great movie. The musical element is very Ramones-esque, while the zombies are pretty similar to those in the original _Dawn of the Dead_ (ie. slow, stupid and with blue skin). As for the movie, I’d say it combines elements of _Plan 9 From Outer Space_, _Rock and Roll High School_ and _The Crying Game_ into one bizarre story. ---
