**Booger** , from _Revenge of the Nerds_

Donald Sutherland as **Oddball** in _Kelly’s Heroes_

Clint Eastwood as **Philo Beddoe** in _Any Which Way But Loose_. Actually, just about any Clint Eastwood character.

**Mongo** from _Blazing Saddles_.

Bull Meechum (Robert Duvall) from The Great Santini
Pinhead (Doug Bradley) from Hellraiser
Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) from MIB
Yes, I know - I like what most people would consider some pretty stupid movies.

Here’s a list. I included the actors because I think so much of why these characters were compelling stemmed from the choices that the actors made.

Juror #8 (Henry Fonda in _Twelve Angry Men_)
Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck in _To Kill a Mockingbird_)
Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart in _Casablanca_)
Walter Gibson (John Cusack in _The Sure Thing_)
Debi Newberry (Minnie Driver in _Grosse Pointe Blank_)
Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston in _Office Space_)
Will Graham (William Petersen in _Manhunter_)
Guy Fleegman (Sam Rockwell in _Galaxy Quest_)
Red (Morgan Freeman in _The Shawshank Redemption_)
Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer in _Tombstone_)
Buffy (Kristy Swanson in _Buffy the Vampire Slayer_)
Gollum (Andy Serkis in _The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers_)
Ricky Roma (Al Pacino in _Glengarry Glen Ross_)
