The Kelly song has already been mentioned. One opening scene. The phone rings and Coach answers. It’s the restaurant upstairs (Melville’s?) calling for the Johnsons. Two couples answer. One couple is really fat. Coach into the phone: Yeah, there two Johnsons. Oh, OK Coach to the couples: Sorry, it’s not either of you. (Yells)The Blubberbutts! Blubberbutts! Diane to Sam (completely paraphrased): If the light hits you at the perfect angle and your head is turned just right, from a certain distance, at the exact right time you can be quite. . . unrepulsive. ---

The regulars opened a book on how long it would take for him to realize that wouldn’t work. ---

I think it was in Cliff’s celebrity vegetable episode, with the Nixon potato, or some other where Cliff was going on and on about something, when Frasier just looked at him and said ,“Hello in there, Cliff. Tell me, what color is the sky in your world?” First time I had heard that line. ---

He pills out a great big binder and starts leafing through it in front of Norm. “This goes all the way back to the beginning. We didn’t even know your name bak then. When they had a mean junkyard dog at the bar (I can’t remember why) who would attack whenever it heard the word ‘Cochise’. They put up a big sign that said “Do Not Say Cochise to This Dog”, but inevitably someone came in and read the sign aloud… ---

Woody is rehearsing a play and doesn’t want Kelly to know about it (he thinks Kelly will frown on him being an actor). He’s rehearsing a scene (with a brunette Lisa Kudrow FTR) where they kiss, and Kelly walks in. Kelly (paraphrasing): Woody! Oh I should have known! The long hours away from me, the obviously phony excuses to get away from me. It all makes sense now - _You’re in a play and you didn’t tell me._ And then there was the date auction, in which Woody got ‘bought’ by a boozy, chain-smoking barfly, and Rebecca almost found herself making the top bid on Sam, only to be outbid by Lilith! And from the same episode, Lilith on her date with Sam and acting very seductive toward him. Seeing her dance on the bed was terrific. ---
