I’ve heard that the clarinet is the instrument that can best _emulate_ the human voice. And I can’t agree with **Jackmannii** ’s assessment. Maybe he was thinking of [this](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWbj7FYEi3M) this clarinet.

Bagpipe  
Lasso D’amore  
Vacuum Cleaner  
Rifle

Yes, there was indeed a concerto for vacuum cleaner and rifle. And it wasn’t written by P.D.Q. Bach! ([Malcolm Arnold](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_Arnold)’s _A Grand, Grand Overture_, Op. 57)
