Last night my TiVo reminded me about _Brockmire_. Great, great show. I love Hank Azaria, and am hoping this season still works without Amanda Peete (or that they bring her back quickly). ---

By far, the favorite around here is Agents of SHIELD. fingers still crossed that season 6 will happen… Doctor Who is probably the current #2. (Moffat fatigue has pushed it down a bit, but here’s hoping the new writers will bring it back up.) The Orville is up there too, and the hiatus is feeling interminable. On the comedy side, Life in Pieces isn’t as consistent as it once was, but still has enough good stuff to make it the only comedy we really watch. ---

The best new show in ages, imho, and one that someone no one in this thread has mentioned, is **Killing Eve** on BBC America. Capsule summary from google: “Eve’s life as a spy is not adding up to what she had hoped it would be when she started. She is a bored, very smart, MI5 security officer who is very desk-bound. Villanelle is a very talented killer, mercurial in mood, who clings to the luxuries of her job. Eve and Villanelle go head to head in a fierce game of cat and mouse, each woman equally obsessed with the other as Eve is tasked with hunting down the psychopathic assassin.” ---

Not sure why you’re including stuff on Netflix, since everything there is always “on the air” and binge-able for as long or slowly as you’d like. I suppose I could exclude ones that were abruptly cancelled without a satisfying conclusion. Ones that are still “on the air,” or on hiatus with a definite or very likely a next season. The only reason I can think to exclude them I think, is because you want to be hip on what’s happenin’ with water cooler talk? ---

Because it’s not about what’s available, it’s about what’s _new_, and Netflix does produce original content. **Cheers** has been available on Netflix for some time, but it definitely ain’t new. ---

_Blue Bloods, Madame Secretary_ on regular TV. My wife likes true crime stuff, so Investigation Discovery a lot - mostly _See No Evil_ about people being caught on CC camera, or _Justice Served: Murderous Affairs_, about spouses killing each other for the life insurance. Regards, Shodan ---

I watch Chance, Gotham, Jessica Jones and other fellow marvel series, Westworld (but I really don’t think the 2 season will be as good and the 1 one), Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Game of Thrones, The Good Place, Punisher, Family Guy, American Dad, Walking Dead (but I wouldn’t recommend it and will not continue watch it myself 🙂 ), Looming Tower wasn’t bad. ---

For those who like animated kid’s shows, by far my favorite series currently extant is _Star vs. the Forces of Evil_, on Disney XD (which also produced _Gravity Falls_, which is awesome but not ongoing). ---
