I’m sure this has been done before, but I figure that, like the “What does your username mean?” threads and similar topics, it doesn’t hurt to revisit the issue from time to time. So, what’s your favorite Doper signature? **CalMeacham** , I’m calling you out – your Watchmen reference cracks me up every time I have the fortune of running across it. 🙂 Next! ---

I hate the signature idea. It’s like so much spam on every thread. Just more stuff to catch your attention that is not what you came to read. ---

**Bosda** and **rjung** both have sigs I like. Both just a little…strange. ---

I think it belongs to **The Chao goes Mu** (my apologies if I butchered the username). The sig is _There is no theory of evolution. Evolution is a fact. The theory is of how it happened._ I absolutely love it. ---

My favorite is **Daithi Lacha** ’s, both the current one and the previous one. Current: “If I cannot earn your respect, please allow me to purchase it from you.” Previous: “My name is Daithi Lacha, millionaire; I own a mansion and a yacht.” For some reason the fact that they’re in small font size makes 'em even more amusing. I really can’t explain why I feel the way I do, it’s totally irrational! ---

**CandidGamera** ’s, without a doubt. There are a lot of great sigs here, but how can you beat a song about a giant flying turtle, set to the tune of “The Major-General’s Song”? 😃 “I am the very model of the modern kaiju Gamera / I’ve a shell that’s indestructible and endless turtle stamina. / I defend the little kids/ and I level downtown Tokyo/ in a giant free-for-all mega-kaiju rodeo.” ---

Someone around here took “A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!” and extended it to ridiculous lengths while maintaining the palindromnity of the original. I love it. Anyone know who it is? And mine’s awfully dull. ☹ ---

Thank ou, **Asimovian**. You do know that I change my sig regularly, don’t you? I view it as a neat way to try out weird one-liners. **Malacandra** ’s sig is neat, but I think not original with Mal. I’ve seen such extensions of that original short palindrome elsewhere, although I couldn’t swear that Mal’s is the same as those. I think we need more sig lines. Just keep 'em short. ---

Thanks! I like altering the lyrics to popular tunes. I’ve always been fascinated by internet-sigs, and we have a good batch around here. ---

No, it’s not original. I saw it on these very boards once upon a time, and thought it deserved to be resurrected. One of these days I’ll come up with something original, but don’t hold your breath unless you want to look like this → :eek: ---

No criticism implied, **Mal** – I think it’s a great sig. I’ve never been able to come up with a palindrome of any length that didn’t sound contrived and moronic, myself. ---
