Whatever the Venusians ate at the end of Heinlein’s **Space Cadet**. It didn’t last long after it had been … Well, it doesn’t last long. _Miruvor_, the cordial of the Elves, from LOTR _cram_, also from LOTR, just because everybody else loves _lembas_ so much. Not to mention the _honey-cakes of Beorn_. And, from mythology, _nectar_ and _ambrosia_ (which, I’m sure, hasn’t got mini-marshmallows in it) and _amrita_. ---

My first thought when seeing this thread was Krabby Patties! Somehow, infinite watchings of Spongebob has made me hunger for them in a low-key way. Similarly, there’s an episode of Rugrats featuring Chocolate Cheese. Bleh, right? Well watch the episode a few hundred times and tell me they don’t start to sound good. How could they eat spice candy on Dune and enjoy it, when everything on the planet is permeated with spice? Oh wait–I thought I was back over in the Dune thread. 😃 ---

Hydro Biscuits… they are teh Hoopiest Frood food in the galaxy. Just make sure you don’t try your first one on a Vogon Destructor vessel. Ventrassi chefs tend to substitute a few key ingredients to piss off the Vogons. ---

Well, you really could try that one. I’ve seen chocolate cheese in the grocery stores and delis around here. Never tried it, but it is chocolate pudding-colored and seems to be based on some sort of soft, spreadable cheese. ---
