You know how when you say a particular word over and over again and you really think about the sound of the word and not what it means, the word starts to sound really stupid or funny? What are your favorite funny sounding words? My favorite is the word ‘booth’. Say that one over and over again… ---

I like “indubitably.” Also, “floccinaucinihilipilification.” I was serious being serious about “indubitably,” though–it always sounds weird and is usually fun to say. Same with pumpernickel, except that it also sounds kind of dirty as well. ---

I used to get that feeling a lot when I was growing up. It seemed to happen pretty much at random, though. None of the words were particularly silly-sounding. They just suddenly seemed, well, foreign. ---

It’s gotta be **Gobbledeegook** for me. Half my life seems to be describable by that one word. I have a lot of friends from various parts of the country around Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc. too, so **Uff-Da** is one that I’ve grown fond of. ---
