He’s funny in that he always prefers to watch the DVDs with the commentary on, yet he still knows most of GIR’s lines. GIR steals every scene he’s in. From the **Germs!** episode, another great moment: I’m gonna hug you! ---

I believe this one is in _Bestest Friend_: the doorbell rings, and GIR goes to answer it, saying to himself out loud what he (presumably) expects to be at the door: “Leprechauns!” I also love (and often imitate) the exchange between Zim and GIR in _Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy_: GIR: What is it? Zim: A hunter-destroyer… GIR: What is it? Zim: A hunter-destroyer… GIR What is it? etc. ---

All my favorites have been taken except for: GIR (opening mouth widely after sipping from shake cup): I got chocolate-bubblegum! and Zim: You left the window open, too? GIR: Oh, yeah! and GIR (looking at wall o’ televisions): This is my favorite show! (looks at different TV set) No, _this_ is my favorite show. (looks at different TV set) My favorite show! (hugs yet another TV set) I love this show! I’ve only seen volume one (stolen from my nephew) and sporadic episodes that I happen to catch at random when at the house of someone who has cable. Strangely enough, GIR running around like a madman yelling “I’m running, I’m running, I’m running…I’M NAKED!” reminds me of my 2-year-old nephew. _I miss you, cupcake._ ---
