Well, I was just reminded on another thread that I find cinnamon schnapps soothing to the throat at bedtime. Tastes like Red Hots candy. 🙂 ---

When I find myself in LA without Mrs. ricepad, I get over doublequick to the corner of Beverly and Rampart…can you say “Tommy’s”, boys and girls? I knew you could! Ain’t NOTHIN’ like one o’ Tommy’s double chili-cheeseburgers… ---

I was gonna say that my guilt foods are NuTella and Toblerone candy bars. These being the “sinfully delicious” type of thing. I’ve publicly stated that I’m a total whore for these two foods. Then I read the OP and got a different interpretation of the thread. Foods you eat when ain’t nobody lookin’. When Mrs. Spritle is out of the house, ain’t nuffin better’n a peanut butter and raisin sammich. (Mrs. don’t like no raisins so I gotsta eat em when she ain’t around) ---

Oh. My. god. Pizza rolls. Only Totino’s. Only pepperoni. I try to avoid this, but trust me, Homer noises are coming out of my mouth. Nym - who canNOT stay the fuck away from food threads while she’s dieting. ---

The Red Apple all you can eat Polish buffet on Milwaukee spam entire quarts of Limeade straight from the pitcher Matts chocolate chip cookies cheap chinese or Thai buffets (notice a trend here?) pizza puffs rib tips by the bucket with white bread covered in BBQ sauce ---

Me, the Ultimate effing Food Snob will still snarf a can of Vienna sausages when the urge strikes. If I’m too tired to cook, can you say “Taco Bell Tacos”? The most disgusting thing about this is that I make the finest home made tacos. That does it, I’m gonna go start a thread about personal bests for quantity of food eaten. ---

I won’t keep sugary snacks in the house because I have a mondo sweet tooth and I can’t resist them. Still . . . When nobody’s looking, I go get the jar of wild mountain honey and spoon up a couple of big giant spoonfuls and slurp it down just plain – all glutinous and spicy and scented with flowers. ---

back when i still ate meat, one of my comfort foods was a Hawaiian specialty: rice, eggs and Spam. the mayonnaise and soy sauce was my contribution to the mix. salty, fatty, greasy and filling–a reminder of my childhoood. of course, 99% of the population outside of Hawaii thinks Spam is disgusting so this was generally enjoyed in secret. ---
