Another vote here for the incredible _Christmas at Ground Zero_ by Weird Al Yankovic – perhaps his very best song.

The Bobs, _Fifty Kilowatt Tree_ is easily my favorite from the a cappella group’s **Too Many Santas!** album from a few years ago.

And, in a slight hijack, I’ll mention that the Beatles’ seven annual fan club Christmas flexi-discs are a scream for anyone who worships all things Beatle and can get his hands on copies.

John Clarke is a NZ humourist now resident in Aus. He now specialises in glorious satire that you often don’t see coming till it bites you.

His version of “We Three kings” dates from the '70’s, when he used to play a NZ yokel called Fred Dagg. Click on [this link](http://members.tripod.com/NZFolkie/gumboot.html#One), click on “one on a tractor”, and sing it, preferably in the broadest Aus or NZ accent you can muster, preferably slightly out of tune.

D’oh, when I replied earlier, I forgot…

Leroy, _Santa Stole My Baby_

from Black Vinyl Records’ _Yuletunes_ release (a nifty collection). I’ve listened to it for the music so often that I forgot what fun the lyrics are.

I, too, love this song. But what’s the extra gory version? I’ve only ever heard the album version. Whats the difference? What lyrics get changed? It’s pretty gory as-is, actually…

I remembered!!

It’s _The Waitresses_ song **Christmas Wrapping**. It’s real goofy and I’m not sure why I like it, but I do.

Funny this thread should come up…my girlfriend just gave me the cutest tiny stuffed hippo. See, a few weeks ago I sang “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” to her, and she didn’t believe it was a real song, so I played it for her.

I’m still deciding what to name him. I just can’t bring myself to do an alliterative name like “Humphrey”.

“I saw Mummy Shagging Santa Claus” and “Little Plumber Boy” by the Scruff Merchants.

I’m not even going to go into the horrors of their version of “the 12 Days of Christmas”
