I had the pleasure of working at a B&R for about two years in my teens. My favorites wavered over that time, but some standouts I remember: Pralines and Cream Jamoca Almond Fudge Baseball Nut Quarterback Crunch (Mrs. Mix’s favorite too) Chocolate Mousse Royale In my later years, Ben&Jerry’s Wavy Gravy trumped all of these. Nowadays, my gut can’t do ice cream anymore, but for those of you in the same boat, may I suggest checking out “So Delicious” dairy-free products, especially: [Mocha Almond Fudge Bar](http://sodeliciousdairyfree.com/products/almond-milk-frozen-desserts/mocha-almond-fudge-bars) …closest thing to a dairy-free Dove bar. ---

Stewart’s just had their annual ice cream sale, any half gallon for $2.99. We ordered ours 2 weeks ahead of time, and just picked them up last week. We got 14 half-gallons of ice cream. 5 of them are mine, and they’re all mint chocolate chip. One other flavor that I adore is Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia. ---

President Obama worked in a Baskin-Robbins as a youth in Honolulu. (Or Nairobi, depending on your bent.) I’ve read he became so sick of ice cream that he still cannot eat it to this day. ---
