I liked Toby Keith until around 2000. After that, he started catering to the redneck crowd instead of just releasing good music. That’s part of my problem with coutry radio right now. It sounds like rock music singing about redneck stereotypes. Listen to “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean for a perfect example of how to keep me from buying music.

Most of my favorite songs and singers are centered from about 1985 to 1995. I like stuff that ranges from the 40’s to now though.
