I vote _Life of Brian_. While _Grail_ may be more quotable in a geeky way, it’s hit-and-miss and a bit scrappy - whereas (with the exception of the aliens) _LoB_ is a proper movie, with a hilarious story arc, and at the time represented a revolutionary, ground-breaking heresy. ---

Brazil is my choice since it’s the best movie of them all, but Holy Grail is the funniest. ---

_Holy Grail_ is my favorite movie in general, although I very much like the whole “You’ve got to figure it out for yourselves” and “What have the Romans ever done for us?” scenes in _Life of Brian_. ---

I think _Holy Grail_ and _Life of Brian_ are on par with each other comically (and miles above most other moves comically) but the “message” of _Brian_ and its send-up of religion gives it an edge over _Grail_. It is just a great bit of writing and social commentary. _Meaning of Life_ and _Wanda_ are third and fourth for me. ---

Weird poll. I voted 12 Monkeys since that’s my favorite of the bunch, but aside from being directed by Terry Gilliam, it has nothing to do with Monty Python. FTR, my favorite Python film is Holy Grail. ---

_The Brothers Grimm_ and _Fierce Creatures_ are the only weak films on this list ( and even those have a couple of good moments ). But as huge a fan as I am of Terry Gilliam, I have to go with _Life of Brian_ - as a Red Diaper Baby the endlessly schismatic revolutionaries in particular resonated strongly with my funny bone ;). ---

I voted for Holy Grail, because I like it best out of the three films on the list that I consider to actually be Python material. I like some of the other films listed a lot, but I don’t know why they’re in the poll. ---

I’ve only seen _Life of Brian_, _Holy Grail_ and _And Now For Something Completely Different_. _Life of Brian_ was the best of the three IMO. One of my favorite movies of all time. _Completely Different_ was pretty sucky. The show is pretty bad, too, IMO.
