When I was a kid, my favourite was Crazy Harry. I guess the idea of a deranged psychopath blowing things up at random appealed to me… Nowadays, it’s Sam the Eagle. Wonderfully subversive. ---

When I was 16 I had a t shirt with Animal on it…I had already been partying for about a year and the Animal shirt was always a hit,probably more than any other shirt that I’ve owned other than my Pink Floyd Darkside of the Moon shirt! So,my vote is for Animal. ---

Since some people are cheating with Sesame Street characters I’m going with Oscar. Particularly in this [nasty duet](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H75eQX006jA) with Johnny Cash. If it has to be Show Muppets then it’s probably the saxophone player, because when I was little my father played sax and had a moustache and glasses, so I was convinced the muppet was based on him and I would should “daddy” everytime he came on. ---

Love this [Beaker](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KANI2dpXLw&NR=1&feature=fvwp) one for the first audience reaction shot. Otherwise, Lew Zealand is the one time I remember roaring with laughter at the Muppets (we watched them religiously in college). “Am I my brother’s kipper?”. No idea why that tickled me so much, but he’s had a soft spot in my heart ever since. ---
