I’ve always liked Neil Young’s [Wondering](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a6A6oTFdcw), but I’m a Neil Young freak. I second Van Halen’s **Right Now** and Peter Gabriel’s **Sledgehammer**. Not a music video, but I really liked KT Tunstall’s [Black Horse & The Cherry Tree](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYEU91d8ngc) performance on a UK TV show. The song is good, but how she performed it made my jaw drop. The [Total Eclipse of the Heart - literal version](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj-x9ygQEGA) is pretty funny. I haven’t checked all of the links in this thread, but since nobody’s complained about Rick Rolls, I’ll just say I’m impressed by the SDMB. ---

Okay, I love this song, but the video is absolutely horrifyingly bad (in a “it was the 80s and we didn’t know any better” way). So bad, in fact, it’s awesome. Way more than I wanted to know about that video, but fascinating. Thanks! BTW, I remember looking up MWH around the time the literal video version came out, and finding something about the “Safety Dance” actually being a sarcastic reference to the backlash against slam-dancing/mosh pits back in the early days of punk/new wave. I have no idea where I found that, though, and I don’t have time to go hunt it down right now. ---
