Here’s a more recent hit (probably more dancehall than reggae per se): This is really good too, mostly instrumental: And this one: [![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/8jIe7d2pizc/hqdefault.jpg "Toots and The Maytals - Alidina") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jIe7d2pizc) ---

Of course when it comes to Reggae, **Toots and the Maytals** are the best, but \*\*The Aggrolites \*\*are a real fun group that I’ve only recently discovered. Here’s **[Pop the Trunk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy2PVEvvy9s)**. ---

I’m not sure what the title is, but it’s the one with the heavy bass and steady rhythm guitar on the offbeat. ---

My first thought was Dred Zeppelin’s “Black Dog,” but the whole album is a scream. I like the reggae part of [this NatLamp tune](https://youtu.be/eihTKghk8BA?t=22). ---

> [@burpo\_the\_wonder\_mutt](#): > > My first thought was Dred Zeppelin’s “Black Dog,” but the whole album is a scream. The Easy Star All-Stars have done a few whole-album covers. The only one that works for me is their Dub Side of the Moon, but they’ve done a couple of others: OK Computer and Sergeant Pepper’s Hearts Club band. It’s a revolving door project, Toots and the Maytals did some of Radiodread, for example. ---
