That’s from the Simpson, but here’s a Family Guy wife-beating bit:

Businessman #1: What do you say we go to Happy Hour, John?

Businessman #2: Well, I’d say Jane is going to have another black eye to explain to the neighbors.

[They both burst out laughing.]

The Griffins go to dinner at a sea food restaurant and are seated in front of the lobster tank. Stewie opts to pick his own lobster. Then, simply as background to the family dialogue in the foreground, we see Stewie diving into the tank in just his diapers and a knife in his mouth and he wrestles and kills a lobster.

Stewie’s waiting for a plane at an airport. When his flight is announced, he has to retreive a drunk Brian from the bar in order to catch their flight. When he returns, his backpack with the plane tickets is missing. All that’s left is his teddy bear, Rupert. He yells at Rupert for being careless. He accuses Rupert of being distracted by “that flight attendant, the one who looks like Tab Hunter.”

That killed me when I first heard it, because I’m simultaneously parsing:

1. a talking, genius toddler personifying a teddy bear and haranguing it
2. the gay accusation of the teddy bear, which is a projection on Stewie’s part, and
3. the reference of a B-list 1970’s actor who was something of a gay icon for a while.

Ah, pure genius.

Theres an episode with the guest voice of Adam “Batman” West  
where he pulls a lever or pushes a button and Peter drops through a trap door in the floor.

“I love doing that, even more than I love my taffy…and I’m a man who \*loves \* his taffy!”

(Unwraps a pice and pops it in his mouth)  
(chew-chew-smack-chew)

“Mmmmmmm”

(chew-slurp)
