How about it? About ten years ago Steve Wonder recorded a nice song titled “Overjoyed,” in which the rhythm is maintained by dripping water. Some others: “How Insensitive,” by Percy Faith “Song Sung Blue” by Neil Diamond “Save the Best for Last” by Vanessa Williams “When Did You Leave Heaven” by Carmen Lombardo ---

Wow, I haven’t thought about Norwegan Wood in along time. Excellent song. I also like a lot of Crosby,Stills and Nash.“Guinevere” is a nice mellow one. Oh, and “Riders on the Storm” always gets me, too. ---

Oh, wait—this thread is from 2000. Even then, it was more like 15 years ago. But it is a great song. Songs that put me in a serene, mellow mood include the Moody Blues’ “Voices In the Sky” and Dire Straits’ “Why Worry.” ---
