Don’t ask me why, but for whatever reason, I love [“He runs like a Welshman”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF9tSmD_kLo) from Family Guy, and have found more opportunities to use it than one would think possible in real life. I’m sure it’s not iconic in the least, but that’s the first or second quote that springs to mind (the Cool H-Whip being the other one) when I think of the show. ---

“I’m . . . scared, sir.” Said by the rather mentally challenged Lieutenant George to Blackadder in the last moments of _Blackadder_’s series finale. The whole show has been a hilarious romp though various time periods, with the same cast of characters; the finale season took place in the trenches of WWI. They’re finally about to go up over the trenches when that little bit of harsh reality breaks through, and it’s one of the most rapid shifts in tone I’ve ever seen on a TV show. In the end, they (should I spoiler a show from the 80s? Ah, why not) all die. Ballsy ending for a comedy, to say the least. ---
